Charona's Villa is a friendly, warm 6 bed facility located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the city of Gardena, California.Professional Elderly Care and assisted living is what our residency provides. We're in the business of not only assisting and nurturing our residents to happy fulfilled lives; we also help create it.ACTIVITIESWe offer activities that encompass all the residents as a whole or individual, no matter the restriction that a resident may bare, if any. Activities include movie night, ladies night, a day on the town, board games including bingo with prizes and much much more.
MEDICAL EXPERIENCEWe have experience with medical issues that may accompany some residents which allows us to help guide towards the best medical care and support for all the residents and their special needs.
We offer maximum exercise plans along with range of motion to all of our residents as we understand the importance of strength and independent mobility. To less restricted residents we offer input on things such as gardening, walking and etc.
Charona's Villa is proud to have a nursing staff with over 30 years of Certified Registered Nursing experience along with an on-call nurse educator to ensure that all residents are safely and professionally monitored and/or medicated for their special medical needs. Also continuing education is provided by our nursing educator to all administration as well.
MEALSCharona's Villa offers cooked meals EVERY DAY of the year, which includes special dieting for some residents which may be diabetic, or need a low-sodium diet or may have a need for a low-cholesterol diet or any other special needs such as dentures, no teeth, or even all liquid diet.
Vegetables are served with at least two meals daily. We offer a snack at bed time or any time along with whole or low fat milk to ensure a consisten supply of calcium and Vitamin D intake.
Also there is a choice menu which allows a resident to choose a meal that's not part of today's servicing.

OUR ADMINISTRATOROur administrator is a native of Gardena, California who graduated from high school and immediately pursued a career in nursing which earned her a certificate in Licensed Vocational Nursing, which grants her 27 years of nursing experience that's expressed in care at this facility. She dreamed of a home of superior patient care and created Charona's Villa, a place that offers everything for all your elderly care needs.
